Sweet Stems is a boutique florist studio, offering a more considered, season-led approach to flowers. Working from our Edgecumbe-based studio, each arrangement is thoughtfully designed to order using seasonal blooms, with options for local flower delivery across Edgecumbe, Whakatāne and Kawerau, or studio pick-up on selected days.

The studio operates primarily as a working space, with pop-ins available by appointment

Open Studio Hours

The studio is open to the public on:
Fridays — 9:00am to 11:30am

Outside of these times, visits are by appointment only.

Delivery Days & Order Cut-Off

Sweet Stems offers Monday to Friday delivery, with all flowers hand delivered to ensure they arrive in beautiful condition.

Orders placed before 11:00am, Monday to Friday, qualify for same-day delivery
Deliveries are made once daily between 11:30am and 3:30pm
This delivery window supports careful, efficient delivery runs and ensures flowers are delivered at their best
If you’d like your bouquet delivered on a specific weekday, please note your preferred delivery date at checkout

Studio Pick-Up

You’re welcome to collect your order directly from the Sweet Stems Studio during open studio hours or by prior arrangement.

Please wait for confirmation before arriving, as the studio is not open for unscheduled visits outside of listed hours.

Edgecumbe township — Free delivery
Rural Edgecumbe, Awakeri, Otakiri — $10
Kawerau, Thornton, Matatā — $15
Whakatāne, Coastlands — $20
Ōhope — $40
