Wedding flowers for Whakatāne, Tauranga, Rotorua & Bay of Plenty
Your wedding flowers should feel like they belong in the day, not like they were added at the end. I want the floral side of your day to feel easy, calm and beautifully taken care of, so you can relax and enjoy it all, knowing the flowers are taken care of and everything will look as beautiful as we’ve planned.

For couples who know flowers do more than just fill a space
Sweet Stems is best suited to couples who love what flowers can do to a space, not just as another item on the list. If you want to know they’ll be beautifully taken care of on the day, you’re in the right place.

HOW MUCH DO WEDDING FLOWERS COST?
Every Sweet Stems wedding is custom quoted, but I know it can be hard to picture what wedding flowers might actually cost when you’re not generally a flower purchaser and are in the early stages of planning. This guide is here to give you a clearer idea of what’s possible and help you understand where your vision may sit. It’s not a rigid package list, just thoughtful pricing guidance designed to make the process feel easier and less overwhelming.
Flower choices, seasonality, installation size, travel and styling requirements all play a part in the final investment, so think of this as a guide rather than a fixed menu.
If you’re not sure what suits your day yet, that’s completely okay. If you send through your date, venue and inspiration, I can guide you toward the best fit.
As a general guide most full-service wedding floral bookings begin from around $3,000+ with the end price depending on the overall scale, flower choices and setup requirements. For smaller weddings, elopements or personal flowers only, I’m always happy to chat about what feels achievable within your plans.

How Booking Works
1. Enquire
Fill out the wedding enquiry form with your date, venue, inspiration images and a few details about your day.
2. Initial estimate
Once I’ve checked availability, I’ll send through an estimated floral investment based on your inspiration and the overall style of your wedding.
3. Secure your date
If everything feels like the right fit, a $500 booking retainer secures your wedding date in my calendar. This amount is deducted from your final wedding quote.
4. Floral concept & proposal
From there, I’ll create a tailored floral concept, moodboard and detailed quote based on your venue, priorities and the overall atmosphere you want your flowers to bring to the day.
5. Refine the details
You’re welcome to come back with any questions or changes, and we can refine things together until it feels right for your day.
6. Final details
Around two months before the wedding, we’ll confirm final numbers, flower choices and any last details.
7. Wedding day
On the day, I’ll take care of everything flower-related — from creating and delivering through to setup and styling.
Ready to start planning your wedding flowers?
If you already have your date and venue locked in, the best place to start is the wedding enquiry form. From there, I can check availability, get a feel for what you’re planning, and start guiding you toward flowers that feel beautiful, personal and right for your day.
