Sweet Stems began in the middle of everyday life — motherhood, lunchboxes, and the simple desire to create something beautiful while still being home for the moments that matter most.
What started as a search for balance has grown into a Bay of Plenty floral studio, creating wedding flowers for couples who want their day to feel thoughtful, beautiful, and truly like them.
I know flowers are never just flowers on a wedding day. They’re part of the atmosphere, the emotion, and the little moments that make the day feel special. I take the important parts seriously, but I’m also big on keeping things relaxed where they can be — always professional when it matters, while bringing a calm energy, a good sense of humour, and making the process feel easy to be part of.
When I’m not working with flowers, I’m usually with my husband and our three children, family, or friends — enjoying the simple things.
I love good food, good music, a strong coffee, and all the little details that make life feel beautiful. But when I need to clear my head, I love stripping things right back to basics — off-grid camping, being outdoors, and slowing down.
I’m curious by nature, love a creative challenge, and genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I work with so the end result feels personal and considered.
I’m also drawn to places with soul — the art, the personality, the culture, and the architecture — and I’d love to spend more of my life experiencing more of them.
